Sana'a: A training program on "Leadership and Management Orientation" for administrative leaders in the General Postal Authority concluded today at the General Institute of Communications in Sana'a.
According to Yemen News Agency, the five-day program, funded by the Skills Development Fund, aimed to enhance the leadership and administrative capabilities of 21 leaders from the General Postal Authority and its branch directors across various governorates. The training focused on transforming traditional management into productive administration and adapting to modern technologies in postal services.
During the closing ceremony, Ammar Wahan, Director General of the General Postal Authority, highlighted the significance of the program, which targets leaders responsible for institutional transformation and improving performance efficiency through modern administrative best practices. He stated that the initiative aligns with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology's plans, as well as the authority's training programs, reflecting efforts to develop staff performance and prepare them for digital transformation in postal services and enhanced citizen services.
Wahan further mentioned that the authority organizes numerous training courses and programs for its staff at all levels and across various specializations. This commitment to continuous learning is intended to keep pace with evolving service demands and technological advancements.
Meanwhile, Ali Al-Qasimi, Executive Director of the Skills Development Fund, confirmed that the program is part of the fund's broader training initiatives for public, private, and mixed-sector institutions, designed to meet their training needs. He reiterated the fund's commitment to boosting the efficiency of Postal Authority employees, recognizing the organization as a leading national institution in service delivery to citizens.
