Sana'a: The Central Correctional Facility in Sana'a governorate organized a cultural evening for its inmates on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday anniversary, peace be upon him and his family. The event was attended by the Deputy Director of Internal and Security Affairs, Captain Abdulwahab Al-Sabari, and the cultural official at the facility, Mutayyab Nasari.
According to Yemen News Agency, Nasari emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday highlights the presence of the Muhammadan message in current times. He noted the Prophet Muhammad's role in guiding the nation from ignorance to enlightenment, justice, and dignity. Nasari mentioned that the nation today faces modern forms of ignorance, and the anniversary coincides with the Yemeni people's achievements and resistance against adversities.
Nasari viewed the commemoration as a gesture of loyalty to the Prophet, asserting that Yemenis renew their commitment to his path, values, and principles. He stressed that this occasion demonstrates steadfastness against forces of arrogance and is a source of inspiration for taking responsibility towards national causes.
Nasari further explained that the Prophet's birthday, in line with the Quranic vision of the Revolution Leader, serves as a reminder to prepare for and confront arrogance and aggression, with the ultimate goal of achieving freedom, independence, and sovereignty for the Yemeni people.
The evening featured poetry and choral performances expressing joy for the occasion. The event was also attended by officers, soldiers, and the Director of the Martyr Leader School at the facility, Abdulrahman Al-Marouni.
