Cultural Evenings Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday in Hajjah Districts

Hajjah: Cultural evenings were held on Tuesday in the districts of Hajjah City, Abs, and Bani al-Awam to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. In Al-Faj village of Haradh District, displaced residents in Abs camps organized an evening attended by Hajjah University President Dr. Taha Al-Hamzi, District Director Hussein Hayran, Mobilization Official Yahya Ajar, and a number of local and social figures.

According to Yemen News Agency, residents of villages in the Mujair area spanning the districts of Abs, Haradh, Midi, and Hayran, along with the local Water and Sanitation Corporation branch in Abs, also organized a cultural evening marking the Prophet's birthday. The provincial center hosted three evenings in Sa'sa'a, Al-Haswi, and Al-Halla, attended by executive and social figures. In Bani al-Awam District, evenings were held in Jabal Nimr, Radhman, Al-Sarabi, Bayt Salaba, Bayt Ghashim, and Al-Arif. The district's General Mobilization also organized a seminar attended by District Director Mohammed Al-Shahari.

Speakers emphasized the importance of commemorating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, as an opportunity to recall his noble character, values, and principles, strengthen ties to his exemplary life, and reaffirm that the occasion serves as a spiritual, educational milestone for consolidating steadfastness and resilience in confronting the enemies of Islam.

The events also addressed aspects of the Prophet's biography, warning against attempts to insult Islamic sanctities and erase the landmarks of Islamic history. The speakers called for broad participation in the central events scheduled to be held in the provincial center, Abs, and Aham on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.
