Cultural Event by Ministry of Agriculture Celebrates Mawlid al-Nabawi

Sanaa: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources organized today a cultural event commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family). During the event, the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Ammar Al-Karim, highlighted the greatness and significance of this religious occasion as a station for recalling the Prophet's biography and emulating his path.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Mawlid al-Nabawi represents an opportunity to unite the Islamic nation and strengthen its cohesion and solidarity. Ammar Al-Karim praised the mass crowds that turned out on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal in various squares and fields across the governorates in celebration of this great religious occasion. He emphasized the depth of the relationship connecting the Yemeni people to the Messenger of God (PBUH) and the extent of their love and connection to his biography and path.

For his part, the researcher in Quranic culture, Allamah Yahya Abu Awadhah, affirmed that the Yemeni people have proven the sincerity of their faith and love for the Messenger of God (PBUH) through their massive turnout on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. This reflects the Yemeni people's connection to the Messenger of God, their adherence to his path, and their emulation of him. He explained that the Yemeni people's steadfastness over 12 years represents one of the fruits of adherence to the Holy Quran, emulation of the Messenger of God (PBUH), and the beacons of guidance, as well as the meanings of steadfastness, patience, and responsibility these values carry.
