Sana'a: Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development for Policies and Systems, Shukri Abdulmawla, inspected the level of work discipline at the Yemen Oil and Gas Corporation and the Yemen Gas Company on the first official working day following the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, during his visit, Abdulmawla was briefed by Engineer Aswan Al-Ansi, Deputy Director of the Yemen Oil and Gas Corporation, and Younis Al-Adimi, Director of Financial and Human Resources. The briefing covered work progress, employee attendance, and discipline post-Eid, along with measures taken by the corporation to modernize its services.
Abdulmawla highlighted the importance of intensified efforts to overcome challenges, improve performance, and enhance the quality of work. He noted that the commitment of employees to their work is indicative of their awareness and sense of responsibility, especially given the current circumstances facing the country. He emphasized the necessity of improving performance, fulfilling duties, and enhancing service delivery.
In his review of the Yemen Gas Company, Abdulmawla listened to a detailed briefing from company officials regarding employee attendance and work discipline during the Eid holiday and the subsequent first day of official work. He stressed the importance of promoting awareness of discipline, adherence to official working hours, and achieving the desired objectives for improving institutional performance.
Abdulmawla pointed out the need for intensified efforts to preserve state institutions so they can continue carrying out their functions and responsibilities, particularly those directly related to serving citizens. He described attendance at work, adherence to job discipline, and the provision of public services as a sacred national duty that must be performed to the highest standard.
