Dhamar Districts Commemorate Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday with Cultural Events

Dhamar: Speech events and cultural evenings were held in the districts of Dhamar Governorate to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). In Al-Hadaa District, cultural events were organized by branches of the Zakat and Endowments Authority, the Guidance and Education sectors, and at Khalid and Al-Bardoun schools for Al-Malha and Al-Bardoun schools. A symposium was held in Al-Malha district, and an evening was held in Zarajah. In the Wasab As-Safil District, branches of the Zakat Authority, Youth and Sports, Economy and Industry, Transportation, Human Rights, Literacy, Education, Guidance, Improvement Fund, and the Thuluth District Post Office organized public speaking and cultural events.

According to Yemen News Agency, the district's Mobilization Committee held preparatory meetings in the Bani Hay, Musharafa, and Bani Ghashim squares, representing the Bani Sawada, Bani Omar, Bani Abbas, Sujayr, Al-Mahawer, and Bani Saeed sub-districts. The committee is continuing preparations for the Great Prophet Square in the Mahsaba area of Thuluth. A preparatory meeting was held at the Maghrib Ans District Center, which included local authority leaders, general mobilization officials, social figures, and elders from the Najjah, Al-Janbain As-Safil, Bayt Nasr, and Bani Taybah sub-districts. An evening was also held for the Bayt Nasr sub-district, branches of several executive offices, and the district's security department. In the Mayfa'ah 'Ans district, two cultural events were organized in the villages of Al-Jumaimah, in the 'Ans As-Salama sub-district, and Al-Aqmar, in the Asbil sub-district. Two events were also organized in the villages of Amd and Dhi Dhashniyah in the 'Ans district.

Parties were held in the city of Dhamar in the Azraq, Al-Ghabra, and Harat areas of Al-Rashid, Al-Shaheed Akram Al-Azzi, Saih, Al-Imam Ali, Al-Salahi, East Haran, East and South Al-Jami'ah, Al-Tuyour, Al-Saleh, and in Dhi Yaj in the Manqdha district. In the Jabal Al-Sharq district, cultural events were organized in the districts of the district center, Al-Juma'ah, Bani Ruwayah, Qarn 'Arrah, Al-'Adani, Al-Sharqi, Bani Salim, Rub' Al-Had, and Musata Jabal Al-Sharq. Meanwhile, the district's security department and the Sharq City Police Department organized a public speaking event.

The Security Department of Jahran District, Al-Mudabba' Village in the Anban District of Al-Manar District, and the Women's Sector at Ad-Darb Community College also organized cultural events. An evening was held at the Central Agricultural Market in Dhamar City. Speeches by participants in the events, evenings, and meetings highlighted the significance of commemorating this anniversary in uniting the nation, drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet of Mercy, embodying his morals, and being enlightened by his guidance. They emphasized the importance of consolidating Quranic culture and faith-based identity, and correcting the false cultures promoted by the nation's enemies to distance it from its religion and its Messenger, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds. May Allah's prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

They considered commemorating the birth of the Greatest Messenger an embodiment of connection to him and following in his footsteps in establishing religion and justice, supporting the oppressed, and confronting tyrants and the arrogant. The speeches condemned the crimes of genocide and starvation suffered by the people of Gaza, calling for support and assistance to Gaza and the Palestinian people by all available means, and for mobilization and participation in the preparatory activities and the central event to celebrate the Prophet's birthday. The events, in which local, executive, mobilization, and community leaders participated, included expressive poems and songs.
