Al-Hazm:Al-Jawf The Director-General of the Water and Sanitation Corporation in Al-Jawf Governorate, Mansour Al-Qasimi, has strongly condemned the recent targeting of the Corporation's building in Al-Hazm city by Saudi aircraft. The attack resulted in the destruction of the building, its contents, a water project, and the solar energy system.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Qasimi described this act as a systematic targeting that reflects the Saudi enemy's persistence in attacking civilians and civilian service facilities. These facilities provide essential services to citizens, alleviating their humanitarian suffering amid ongoing aggression and siege that has lasted for 12 years.
Al-Qasimi highlighted that the Corporation's services are crucial for about 70,000 residents of Al-Hazm city. He affirmed that targeting such projects and stations represents the state of bankruptcy and impotence the enemy faces on various fronts.
The destruction of the Corporation's building and related infrastructure is considered by Al-Qasimi as a blatant violation of international norms, covenants, and laws, notably international humanitarian law, which prohibits targeting civilian infrastructure.
He stressed that these actions will only bolster the Yemeni people's resolve and determination to confront the Saudi enemy. Al-Qasimi emphasized the Yemeni people's commitment to their just cause, aiming to end the aggression, break the siege, defeat the occupiers, and restore national sovereignty over Yemen's lands.
