Discussion of Necessary Solutions to Neighborhood Blocks Issue in Industrial Zone of Sanhan

Sana'a: A meeting was held on Sunday in Sana'a Governorate, chaired by the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, to discuss appropriate solutions to the problem of neighborhood blocks in the 'Haziz' industrial zone in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul District.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included the Directors of Public Works, Engineer Mohammed Ashaia, Lands Director Yahya Al-Shami, and the Director of the District Ahmed Othman. They reviewed mechanisms for completing excavation works, implementing plans, and removing shading from vacant lands.

The attendees also reviewed the items of the joint minutes No. (1) related to the district and the executive unit, as well as ways to address the technical and administrative obstacles facing the neighborhood block plan in the industrial zone.

The meeting approved a number of executive measures, most notably obligating the Public Works Office to provide materials for backfilling the targeted roads, and tasking the executive unit to immediately carry out paving and compaction works.

The participants emphasized the need to address field obstacles in roads whose excavation has been delayed due to obstructions or objections from some residents, with roads stalled due to engineering issues to be referred again for technical study.

The Public Works Office in the district was also tasked with inspecting and adjusting the routes of the two adjacent Al-Daqq Street and Street 20, and submitting a detailed report to the governorate leadership no later than the end of the current week. Based on this, the Lands Authority will be contacted to update the plan in line with the nature of the area while preserving citizens' rights and the public interest.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary stressed the importance of coordination among relevant authorities to complete field reports and recommendations addressing all obstacles, difficulties facing work progress, and to ensure the smooth running of field operations.
