Sana'a: A meeting held on Wednesday in Maeen District, in the capital, discussed ways to enhance the performance of the Maeen Multipurpose Cooperative Association. The meeting was attended by the Directors of Initiatives at the Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development, Abdo Masri, and the District Director Abdulmalik Al-Radhi, along with the Deputy Executive Director of Bonyan Development Foundation, Ali Maher, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, Mohammed Al-Qahum, and Chairman of the Maeen Cooperative Association, Abduljaleel Al-Kabsi. The attendees reviewed several aspects related to supporting the association in implementing development plans and achieving its goals.
According to Yemen News Agency, Masri, Maher, and Al-Qahum emphasized the importance of collective efforts and teamwork to achieve local development, activate the community's role, and support official efforts in the process of building and development. They also highlighted the necessity of completing the qualification and training of the remaining administrative board members of the Maeen Multipurpose Cooperative Association to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
Al-Radhi noted that the meeting comes as part of Maeen District leadership's efforts to activate the role of the Maeen Multipurpose Cooperative Association in all fields, especially in economic empowerment, praising the cooperation of the Agricultural Union and Bonyan Foundation in various training and development aspects. He urged the coordination of efforts across different areas and stressed focusing on empowering youth and income-generating families through support for small projects, contributing to reducing unemployment and improving citizens' income levels.
