Sana'a: A meeting of the development team in the capital, chaired by the Mayor of Sana'a and head of the development team, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, discussed ways to enhance the capabilities of cooperative societies, develop their skills, and strengthen their role in economic and social development.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting also reviewed the experience of the Grameen Yemen Foundation in the field of microfinance and community development, and the opportunities available to leverage this experience in supporting local development efforts in the capital.
