Education Deputy Minister Launches Scientific Week at Al-Nasser University

Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Daees, inaugurated the 11th Scientific Week for discussing graduation research projects at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Al-Nasser University. The event, held in Sana'a, marks a significant step in fostering open scientific discussions.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch, Dr. Al-Daees praised the university's pioneering role in organizing such scientific events. He emphasized the importance of moving graduation research discussions beyond 'closed circles' and turning them into public forums. This approach, he noted, enhances fair competition among universities and raises students' ambitions.

Dr. Al-Daees highlighted the ministry's focus on the quality and scientific content of research, stating that the quality of educational outcomes is a top priority to ensure alignment with real-world needs. He affirmed the ministry's commitment to excellence across universities, describing graduation projects as the 'first real step' for students transitioning from academic study to the workforce and development.

University President Dr. Nasser Al-Mawfari reviewed examples of graduation projects, emphasizing their role in development and nation-building. He described the Scientific Week as a crucial gateway for students entering the labor market, stressing the university's prioritization of high-quality scientific research.

Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Fahd Al-Khayyat, detailed that the Scientific Week includes the presentation and discussion of 17 research projects in fields such as Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, and Hospital Management.
