Sana'a: The Yemeni Academy for Graduate Studies in Sana'a organized a speech event celebrating the Mawlid al-Nabawi 1448 AH, attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the President of the Academy, and a number of academics and research students.
According to Yemen News Agency, speakers at the event emphasized that celebrating the Mawlid is not merely a historical commemoration, but a moment to renew the emulation of the Prophet and draw inspiration from his guidance and morals. They highlighted that the tradition of celebrating Mawlid has been passed down through generations in Yemen, symbolizing the deep connection of Yemenis to the Prophet.
The speeches at the event underscored the current need for the nation to revisit the Prophet's biography, adhere to his teachings, and raise the banner of jihad in confronting adversaries. They also reminded attendees of the Yemeni people's historical role in supporting the oppressed and standing against tyranny.
