Taiz: The Development and Cooperative Sector in Taiz Governorate, represented by multi-purpose cooperatives and development associations, organized a speech event today commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi. The event saw participation from various sectors including the Agriculture Sector, Social Affairs Office, Agricultural Finance Unit, among other development bodies.
According to Yemen News Agency, attendees at the event included Shura Council members, the Acting Governor, and the Deputy Minister of Finance. During the speeches, it was emphasized that the commemoration of Mawlid al-Nabawi is not only a spiritual occasion but also a catalyst for development efforts. The speakers highlighted the importance of strengthening resilience against aggression and adhering to the principle of "escalation with escalation."
The speeches further illuminated the Yemeni people's profound faith-based connection to the Prophet and their historic contributions to the support of Islam. The event underscored the necessity of mobilization for the central celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, reaffirming Yemen's unwavering stance in supporting Palestine and confronting global arrogance.
In addition to the speeches, the event featured a poetic recital and an operetta performed by students, adding a cultural dimension to the commemorative gathering.
