Sana'a: The local authority, in coordination with the Education Sector and the District Neighborhood Affairs Department in Hamdan District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a speech event and cultural evening to mark the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. The event, held at Al-Nawabigh Schools, was attended by Deputy Governor Atef Al-Musalli, Governor's Advisor Amin Issa, Ministry of Education and Scientific Research Director of Examinations Najib Al-Mutri, and Governorate Information Director Ali Zaid, along with several officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, Hamdan District Director Fahd Atiyah described commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual and educational occasion to learn about the Prophet's noble biography, reinforce Qur'anic culture, and confront the enemies. He noted that this year's observance of the significant religious occasion comes amid the grave crimes and genocidal war being committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip by the criminal Israeli enemy.
Atiyah called for broad and dignified participation in the central celebration on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal to convey to the world a message of allegiance to Allah Almighty, His Noble Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, his family, his household, and the Guides. During the central evening organized by the District Neighborhood Affairs Department, District Mobilization Official Mohammed Al-Shuwai and Neighborhood Affairs Director Ibrahim Otaiba affirmed that celebrating the religious occasion contributes to consolidating the values, principles, and morals of the Noble Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and following his example as the teacher of the nation who brought it from darkness into light and from the injustice of religions to the justice of Islam.
They described commemorating the Prophet's birthday as a spiritual occasion for drawing lessons and insights from the Prophet's life, gaining strength from his teachings, renewing allegiance to Allah and His Messenger, strengthening the values of brotherhood and solidarity, and taking serious action to thwart the schemes of aggression.
