Hajjah: The Kaidenah District of Hajjah Governorate witnessed a series of public events and cultural evenings marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, residents of Wadi Al-Azib in Aslam Nasher Sub-district held a cultural event, while residents of Al-Shannah in Al-Thulth and Al-Sawad in Bani Nashr organized two evening gatherings. The events were attended by Hajjah Local Council member Yahya Musa, District Director Kamal Al-Soufi, and Mobilization Official Abdullah Al-Wazzaf.
Displaced communities and residents of Bani Nashr also held a commemorative evening marking the occasion, attended by Deputy Governor Abdulkarim Al-Khamousi, the district director, and the mobilization official.
The Mobilization Office, along with branches of the Civil Service, Endowments and Guidance, Economy and Industry, Investment, Civil Status, Agriculture, and Culture offices, organized a cultural event to mark the Prophet's birthday.
The branches of the Youth and Sports Office and the Rural Water Projects Office also held a joint event in Sawakh, attended by Local Council member Yahya Musa, the district director, and the mobilization official.
Speakers at the events and evening gatherings described the Prophet's birthday as the most significant event in human history, emphasizing that commemorating the occasion provides an opportunity to learn about the life of the Prophet, the teacher of humanity, draw lessons from his noble character, uphold his approach in supporting the oppressed and confronting the enemies of Islam until victory is achieved.
They stressed the importance of taking advantage of the anniversary of the Prophet's birth to follow his conduct, example, adhere to the values and principles he brought to humanity to attain success in this world and the hereafter.
The speakers also called for broad and active participation in the major events scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, in honor and veneration of the final Prophet, peace, blessings be upon him and his family.
