Events in Al-Tahrir District of Sana’a City Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday with Enthusiastic Gatherings

Sana'a: Numerous events and activities were held in Al-Tahrir District of Sana'a City to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth. Residents of the Kuwait neighborhood in the Kuwait district, Al-Balqa in the Al-Qa'a district, Al-Qa'a Al-Shamali, Bir Al-Suwaidi Al-Gharbi, and Al-Shara'i organized two gatherings, cultural evenings, and an educational and student celebration commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

According to Yemen News Agency, participants in these celebrations included the Deputy Mayor of Sana'a City, Abdul Latif Al-Amri; the Director of Al-Tahrir District, Naji Al-Shia'ani; the Mobilization Officer, Abdul Latif Al-Wali; the heads of the Planning Committee, Ali Abu Talib; the Services Committee, Adel Al-Ansi; the Social Affairs Committee, Mohammed Nasser; the Directors of the Educational District, Issam Al-Abed; the Culture District, Abdul Haq Al-Sharafi; and other leaders, dignitaries, and social figures. The speeches emphasized the importance of broad participation in activities and events commemorating the Prophet's birthday, recalling the Prophet's life, the noble values and principles established by the master of humanity and Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and following his righteous path.

The celebration of the Prophet's birthday was considered an opportunity to unify ranks and stand against the conspiracies and schemes of enemies targeting the nation and the Ummah. It was noted that commemorating the birth of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers is an act of glorification, veneration, and honor for the one whom Allah sent as a mercy to all mankind.

The speeches urged the people of Tahrir Square to continue holding activities and events with the same high level of enthusiasm, renewing their allegiance to Allah and His Messenger, and participating widely in the central event to be held on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal.

The events and evenings included poems, hymns, and religious chants that expressed the grandeur and significance of the occasion.
