Hodeida: Hodeida undersecretary of Hodeida for Financial and Administrative Affairs Mohammed al-Nahari, along with Director of the Office of Economy, Industry and Investment in the governorate, Saleh Atifah, on Tuesday inspected the designated site for the establishment of a milk collection center in al-Marawa'a district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit was also attended by District Director Abdullah al-Marwani and Head of the Cooperative Agricultural Union Branch in the governorate Hadi al-Haij. The officials reviewed the allocated land area for the project and discussed procedures related to the land and coordination among relevant authorities.
The deputy governor emphasized the significance of the project in supporting the dairy production sector and localizing its industry. He noted that the collection center would help reduce milk losses by providing proper means for storage and safe transport to factories.
He pointed out that the visit was in line with directives from the governorate's leadership and reflected its commitment to the development of local agriculture and industry.
