Hodeidah:A four-day free medical camp dedicated to the removal of cancerous tumors has successfully concluded in the Al-Qanawis District of the Hodeidah Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the medical camp was organized by Gramain Yemen Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Environment, its local office, and Al-Qanawis Mother and Child Hospital. The initiative offered examinations and screenings to 900 residents of the Tihama region.

The director of the camp, Abdulkhaleq Al-Khamisi, reported that the screenings identified 233 patients in need of surgery for cancerous tumors. Additionally, an initial group of 100 patients from the most vulnerable and low-income families will be referred to Al-Khazzan Hospital in Sana'a for the required surgical operations.
