Al-Turbah:Taiz A free five-day medical camp is set to commence on Sunday at Khalifa General Hospital in Al-Turbah, located in the Al-Shamayatayn District of Taiz Governorate. The event is organized by the health sector in Dhamar.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp is being coordinated with Taiz's Health and Environment Office, Khalifa General Hospital, and the Ministry of Health and Environment's medical camps department. It is supervised by both the ministry and local authorities in Dhamar and Taiz.
Dr. Tareq Al-Khiywani, Director of Dhamar Health Office, stated that the initiative aims to enhance health cooperation, broaden access to free medical services, and alleviate the hardships faced by citizens during the ongoing economic and humanitarian crisis.
The camp will feature a team of doctors and specialists offering free diagnostic and treatment services in general surgery, internal medicine, and pediatrics. This effort is designed to address local healthcare needs and lessen the strain on vulnerable families.
