Taiz: Taiz governorate on Monday held a solemn funeral procession for a group of martyrs of the nation and the armed forces who were killed while performing their duty in defending the homeland, its sovereignty, and its independence.
According to Yemen News Agency, the bodies of the martyrs Ahmed Abdul-Razzaq al-Harami, Ahmed Qaed Hassan al-Habili, Abdullah Abdul-Rahman al-Makhlafi, Saqr Nabil Qaed Amir al-Hashemi, Imad Qaed Bandar al-Hashemi, and Ayoub Ahmed Saeed Mohammed al-Hashemi were laid to rest. The funeral procession was led by Shura Council member Mansour Saddam, Province Undersecretaries Taha Hammam and Qanaf al-Sufi, Social Affairs Unit official Hamis al-Habari, local and executive leaders, and a large crowd of citizens, families of the martyrs, and their comrades. Mourners praised the martyrs' sacrifices in the fields of honor and dignity, defending the land, honor, and national sovereignty.
They indicated that the martyrs' blood would uproot the thrones of tyrants and oppressors and would yield victories, pride, and dignity for the Yemeni people, affirming their commitment to following the martyrs' path until victory is achieved.
The mourners called for continued support to the front lines with convoys of food, supplies, and manpower, urging all to give their all until the invaders and aggressors are expelled from all Yemeni territory. They emphasized their readiness to make further sacrifices in defense of the homeland and its independence.
The bodies of the martyrs Ayoub Al-Hashemi, Saqr Al-Hashemi, and Imad Al-Hashemi were buried in the Al-Fawz Al-Adheem cemetery in the Al-Ramda area of the Al-Ta'iziyah district, while the bodies of the martyrs Ahmed Al-Harami, Ahmed Al-Habili, and Abdullah Al-Makhlafi were buried in their hometown in the Hadhran area of Al-Ta'iziyah.
