Sana'a:The funeral for Rashid Qaid Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sharif, a member of the Ashraf Harib tribes from Ma'rib, was held in the Jahana District of Sana'a Governorate. Al-Sharif was martyred while defending the nation and supporting the causes of the Islamic nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral procession was attended by a range of local, mobilization, military, and security leaders, as well as prominent social figures. Participants paid tribute to Al-Sharif and other martyrs for their sacrifices, highlighting the victories and gains achieved for the Yemeni people in various sectors as a result.
The mourners expressed their continued support for the revolutionary leadership and the armed forces, emphasizing their resolve to uphold the principles of "a siege for a siege" and "escalation for escalation." They drew inspiration from the sacrifices of the martyrs and the steadfastness of the armed forces in standing against tyranny and oppression.
In accordance with Al-Sharif's final wishes, he was laid to rest at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Dar al-Sharif, Jahana District, with members of the Ashraf Harib Ma'rib tribes in attendance.
