Sana'a: The Governorate of Sana'a today witnessed mass popular marches and large tribal gatherings in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, organized under the slogan 'In loyalty to the martyrs. We will not retreat in supporting Gaza whatever the sacrifices.'
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the marches, which commenced this morning from the main squares in the districts of Manakhah, Sa'fan, and the inner and outer Haymatayn, as well as in gatherings held in villages across the governorate after Friday prayers, expressed their loyalty to the martyrs. They emphasized their commitment to the jihadi path in confronting the enemies of the Ummah, declaring their readiness and resolve to support the people of Gaza who face genocide and starvation by the Zionist enemy. The demonstrators stressed that the Palestinian cause is a unifying issue for all Muslims.
The demonstrators chanted slogans asserting that the Yemeni people will not succumb to any pressures or threats and will remain faithful to Palestine and all Arab and Islamic peoples. They affirmed that their support extends beyond words; they are prepared to join training and mobilization centers for the battle against the enemy, defiantly rejecting the Zionist enemy and opposing its violations against the peoples of the Ummah.
A statement issued by the marches and gatherings highlighted that steadfastness and determination to support the people of Gaza stem from a deep concern for the sons and daughters of the Ummah who are being killed with impunity. Despite Yemen's challenging conditions, the Yemeni people consider Palestine their central cause that cannot be abandoned. The statement criticized attempts by the Zionist entity and the United States to impose impunity on the Ummah and noted that these marches serve as a practical response to those attempts, declaring Yemen's refusal to accept such policies.
The statement criticized submissive Arab regimes for merely observing while Gaza is being slaughtered. It reiterated the Yemeni people's firm position on the Palestinian cause, describing participation in the mass marches as a religious response and obedience to God. It termed this participation 'the greatest battle' the Yemeni people are waging to support the Palestinian cause and Al-Aqsa Mosque, confronting 'the most heinous criminals in the world,' namely the Jews and the Americans. The statement warned that abandoning this duty signifies a retreat from religion and acceptance of slavery and humiliation.
Addressing the people of Gaza, the statement pledged that the Yemeni people will not abandon them regardless of the sacrifices, stating that the price of great stands is blood, but the outcome will be the promised victory and a clear conquest. It warned that surrender leads to humiliation and disgrace, and history will bear witness to it.
The statement emphasized that the Islamic Ummah is one nation and one body, rejecting the reality of division and fragmentation imposed by the enemies. It affirmed that any aggression or violation in any Islamic country is an attack on all, and any martyr who falls is a martyr for everyone.
It added that in the current month, characterized by light and prophethood, and amidst an unprecedented state of violation, fragmentation, and disunity, loyalty to the religion and approach of the Messenger of God is declared. The statement emphasized adherence to jihad, patience, sacrifices, and the unifying title of Islam. From this standpoint, it rejected the imposed division and fragmentation on the Ummah and considered any aggression or violation in any part of the Ummah's lands as an attack on everyone.
The statement announced solidarity with the leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) who were struck in Qatar, and with the brothers in Qatar, rejecting the Zionist violation of their sovereignty. It affirmed practical opposition to this violation, relying on and trusting in God.
The statement praised the military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist entity, asserting that the battle is significant, but trust in God will achieve miracles. It called for increased efforts to develop military capabilities to deter the Zionists and their American partners.
