Hadhramaut Residents Rally in Support of Palestinians and Condemn Israeli Actions

The hadhramaut governorate: witnessed on Friday popular demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest against Israeli violations against Palestinian prisoners, including the torture they face at the hands of the Israeli occupation.

According to Yemen News Agency, these demonstrations reaffirmed public support for the Palestinian cause, strengthening solidarity with Arab and Islamic issues. Residents of Al-Masaken neighborhood in Al-Mukalla city, as well as the Khurd and Al-Hami areas in the Al-Shihr district, organized solidarity gatherings condemning the crimes committed in Gaza and across Palestine.

Participants raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, denouncing the Israeli Knesset's approval of a law to execute Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. They affirmed their ongoing support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, holding the international community responsible for its silence toward Israeli crimes against Palestinians, and for the continued imposition of siege and starvation on the residents of Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine.

The people of Hadhramaut renewed their commitment to supporting the Palestinian people until they achieve full freedom and establish the Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital. They emphasized that the Palestinian cause remains the central and foremost issue for the Yemeni people, calling on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene to protect Palestinian prisoners.

Furthermore, the people of Hadhramaut condemned the ongoing Israeli closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, describing it as an attempt to subdue Muslims and separate them from the site in preparation for its demolition. They urged support for those stationed at Al-Aqsa.
