Hajjah Launches Cleanliness Campaign Ahead of Ramadan

Hajjah: Hajjah governorate has launched a comprehensive cleanliness campaign, organized by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in collaboration with local and community authorities, to prepare for the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign, which started Tuesday, aims to clean streets, neighborhoods, and public institutions across 14 districts of Hajjah.

According to Yemen News Agency, over 350 workers and dozens of cleaning machines will participate in the initiative, which runs until the beginning of Ramadan. Hamza Sharaf al-Din, Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, emphasized the campaign's importance in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, reflecting the region's commitment to faith and cultural values. He called on the local community to actively participate in the initiative as part of their devotion and civic responsibility.

The technical director of the fund, engineer Ahmad Abdel-Majid, and the director of the cleaning project, Sameh Al-Bawab, explained that the campaign will target cleaning all areas, from streets to neighborhoods, ensuring the governorate is prepared for Ramadan in a way that honors the significance of the holy month.
