Hajjah: Hajjah University, in collaboration with the Academic and Administrative Forum and the University Student Forum, held a commemorative event on Monday to mark Ashura and honor the martyrdom of Imam Zayd.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event featured a speech by the Vice Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Hamid, who highlighted the contributions of Imams Hussein and Zayd in restoring dignity to the nation during a time when tyrants attempted to lead the community away from its religious path. He emphasized the importance of learning from the lives of these Imams in standing against oppression.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Adhabi, head of the Technical Education Sector in the province, also addressed the gathering. He stressed the significance of strengthening the nation's connection with Allah, the Prophet Muhammad, the Holy Quran, and the Prophet's family. He pointed out that the nation's deviation from this path has led to subjugation and emphasized adherence to these teachings as a means of liberation from external influences.
