Sana'a: The Head of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance - and Deputy Head of the Association of Yemeni Scholars, Sheikh Abdulmajid al-Houthi - commended the role of Yemeni scholars and their honorable stance in supporting the nation's causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and in supporting the decisions of the leadership and armed forces to break the siege, end the aggression, and recover the people's plundered wealth.
According to Yemen News Agency, in a welcoming address during the annual conference of Yemeni scholars held today in Sana'a, Sheikh al-Houthi said: "Welcome to the scholars who speak the truth. This is the stance of believers in every time and place; they stand with Allah and the truth. You have embodied the words of Allah Almighty: {Those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.}" He added: 'You spoke the truth in the face of the arrogant and the tyrannical ruler, and this is a great blessing that Allah has bestowed upon Yemen, for we live in the Yemen of faith and wisdom, and we live under a divinely guided leadership that helps us uphold the truth and directs us according to Allah's commands. We have a great people, unparalleled in their stature; a people who refuse oppression and reject submission and subservience. A people praised by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, 1400 years ago, they are the most tender-hearted and gentle of people, the best of the earth, and they are our glory when tribulations rage.'
The head of the Endowments Authority continued: 'Praise be to Allah that He has gathered a constellation of Yemeni scholars whose stature is unmatched, and of whom we are proud among the nations. When the truthful and patient unite, no power on earth can defeat them.'
He pointed out that the Yemeni people draw their strength, their great stances, and their great victory from their love for Allah and their adherence to the Messenger of Allah, whose birth anniversary, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, the people of faith and wisdom are preparing to celebrate. This is a testament to their faith and closeness to Allah and His Messenger. The scholar Abdul-Majid al-Houthi pointed out that the Prophet's words concerning the people of Yemen could only come from Allah Almighty, who knows what is and what will be. The people of Yemen are those whom Allah loves, who strive in His cause, and who fear no blame in the way of Allah, and who are mighty against the disbelievers.
He also affirmed that by following Allah, His Messenger, and the Imams and guiding lights from the Prophet's family, the Yemenis will overcome injustice, break the siege, end the occupation, and reclaim the nation's wealth that has been plundered for the past 12 years.
He noted that the Saudi enemy has persisted in oppressing and wronging the Yemeni people, acting as if it were their guardian. Allah refuses to allow the horn of Satan to rule over the believers, and this horn will be broken by unifying the word and standing together to end the occupation and break the siege. Allah willing, not a single inch of Yemeni land will remain that is not cleansed of the Al Saud and Al Nahyan families.
