Sana'a: The Higher Academy of Quran and Its Sciences, female branch in the capital Sana'a, commenced its celebrations for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday on Monday. The event is themed around the Quranic verse: "But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all] good things..."
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Dean Hanan al-Ezzi underscored the guidelines from Leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi, which highlight the significance of honoring the Prophet's esteemed status among Muslims, with a special emphasis on the Yemeni context.
Students Batoul al-Qadi and Ikhlas Aboud expressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday, viewing it as a pivotal occasion that reinforces noble values. They articulated how this celebration mirrors Yemen's unwavering support for Palestine, which they regard as both a religious and humanitarian responsibility.
The students also reiterated the enduring role of Yemenis as dedicated followers of the Prophet's teachings, drawing inspiration from his legacy of perseverance and resilience.
