Al-bayda: Rabat Al-Haddar for Islamic Studies in Al-Bayda honored 50 male and female Quran memorizers from the graduates of its model study circles. During the ceremony, Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris emphasized the importance of Quran memorization schools and other educational institutions in protecting students from misleading cultures and destructive ideas, while imparting authentic religious and scientific knowledge, foremost of which is the Holy Quran.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris praised the efforts of Rabat Al-Haddar in providing enlightening, diligent initiatives across the governorate through the mosque's mission, promoting brotherhood and tolerance. He expressed regret over the silence of the Muslim Ummah in response to repeated American insults against the Quran, noting that this stems from neglecting the Quran and failing to uphold its values, principles, and ethics.
Sheikh Al-Haddar stressed the importance of returning to the Quran, reflecting upon it, and reciting it as a means of responding to attacks on the greatest of sacred texts. He pointed out that distancing oneself from the Quran is distancing oneself from its Revealer, and that honoring the Quran is, in fact, honoring Him who revealed it.
