Inspection of Services at Traffic Numbering Committee in Al-Sha’ab Center

Sana'a: The Director-General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and the Director-General of Criminal Evidence, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Makhdhi, conducted an inspection on Sunday to evaluate the level of services provided to citizens at the Traffic Numbering and Registration Committee located in Al-Sha'ab Center, Sana'a.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials also assessed the performance at the Automated Traffic Services Issuance Center, the Criminal Evidence Office, and the detention facility within the center. They received briefings from officials and specialists from the Traffic and Customs Committee about the workflow and the delivery of services to the public, with a particular focus on streamlining procedures for motorcycle and taxi owners obtaining the necessary criminal record certificate, known as "Feesh and Tashbeeh."

Major General Al-Barashi emphasized that the visit was in line with directives from the ministry's leadership, aiming to enhance strengths and address any shortcomings identified in performance evaluation reports. This initiative is part of a broader effort to simplify procedures and improve service delivery.

Brigadier General Al-Makhdhi reiterated the importance of enhancing the center's criminal evidence staff by assigning additional specialists to expedite the process for citizens obtaining criminal record certificates. He also mentioned plans to establish a network connection with the Criminal Evidence leadership to ensure quicker issuance of these certificates.

The officials were joined by Lieutenant Colonel Nabil Al-Maghlas, the Director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance in the Traffic Police, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Nakhuda, the Deputy Director of Unified Traffic Issuance, and several other officers.
