Sana'a: Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Mujahid Ahmed inspected the supply levels of office and technical equipment at the ministry's warehouses, focusing on the needs of newly established general and specialized courts. Judge Mujahid directed the Equipment and Procurement Departments to develop an urgent plan to meet these needs according to the highest standards.
According to Yemen News Agency, the minister reviewed the progress of judicial publications at the Judicial Printing Press building, stressing the need for timely and high-quality completion of publications within five days. He highlighted the importance of adhering to precise technical specifications to maintain the continuity and quality of judicial work.
The inspection included the maintenance project for the Higher Judicial Institute building, funded by fees from courts and notary offices. Judge Mujahid reviewed procedures for supplying furniture for student housing and directed the construction of a kitchen "hanger" to support students' academic and judicial training.
Judge Mujahid also assessed the National Commission for Human Rights' efforts in monitoring crimes and violations by the US, Israeli, and British aggression against Yemen. He urged quick preparation of crime files for domestic and international prosecution, coordinating with the Public Prosecution and relevant authorities.
The minister emphasized the need for the commission's annual plan, aligning with the Government of Change and Reconstruction's priorities. These visits aim to strengthen the justice system, improve judicial services, and support efforts to defend Yemeni rights through domestic and international legal mechanisms.
