Al-bayda: The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, today launched a project aimed at distributing emergency food baskets to needy and poor families across various districts in the region. This initiative is a part of ongoing humanitarian efforts focused on mitigating the hardships faced by impoverished families.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemen Inmaa Development Foundation is implementing the project in coordination with the local authority and mobilization efforts within the governorate. The primary objective is to distribute 5,000 food baskets to families identified as the poorest and most in need.
During the launch event, Governor Idris expressed appreciation for the food basket distribution initiative, highlighting its importance given the current challenges imposed by aggression and blockades. He also noted the initiative's timing with the anniversary of the birth of the Noble Prophet, emphasizing the need for increased solidarity and compassion within the community.
