Launch of Interest-Free Loans for Agricultural Associations in Hajja

Hajja: The Agriculture Sector in Hajja Governorate has inaugurated interest-free loans to agricultural associations, aimed at establishing veterinary clinics to bolster livestock development.

According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative is backed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, with oversight from the General Directorate of Animal Health, the provincial agriculture sector, and the Agricultural Cooperative Union. During the launch event, Hassan Hazzazi, head of the provincial agriculture sector, emphasized the project's goal of setting up a veterinary clinic within every agricultural cooperative association. This move is designed to provide essential services to livestock owners and farmers across various districts and sub-districts, underscoring a commitment to enhancing livestock development.

Hazzazi called on agricultural associations to prioritize this project, which he considers the foundational core of veterinary clinics. He encouraged collaboration with the Animal Health Directorate in the provincial agriculture sector and advised utilizing the expertise of agricultural staff in the districts to ensure that services are effectively delivered to the community.
