Al-Hudaydah:The "Noor Al-Awn" (Light of Aid) free medical camp for cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation has been launched in the Zabid District of Al-Hudaydah Governorate. The initiative was organized in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the Medical Camps Department at the Ministry of Public Health and Population, and the Governorate's Office of Health and Environment.
According to Yemen News Agency, the camp is implemented by the International Al-Basar Charity Foundation and funded by the "Direct Aid" (Al-Awn Al-Mubashir) association-Yemen office. Its aim is to provide eye examinations, medical treatment, surgical procedures, and medication to beneficiaries, all free of charge.
