Sana'a: The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has called on the Saudi regime to reevaluate its actions and halt its hostility towards the Yemeni people. He urged Saudi Arabia to abandon its aggressive approach and adopt the principle of good neighborliness.
According to Yemen News Agency, in his speech on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness 2026, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the Saudi regime should dissociate itself from American and Israeli agendas. He suggested that the Saudis allow the Yemeni people to face these external influences directly, rather than burdening themselves with the consequences of hostility that cannot achieve total control over Yemen.
Sayyed al-Houthi reiterated Yemen's position against the Zionist scheme and the American-Israeli aggression, framing it as part of a broader jihad against the enemies of Muslims. He declared Yemen's readiness to respond militarily if necessary, emphasizing trust in divine support.
He also highlighted the ongoing suffering of the Yemeni people due to what he described as the illegitimate and criminal American-Saudi aggression. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people, including the martyrs, the wounded, and their families, praising their contributions to Yemen's steadfastness.
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the coalition's destruction of Yemen's infrastructure, including health, educational, and economic facilities, and the impact on the nation's resources and agricultural sectors. He detailed the extensive damage caused by the aggression, including the loss of civilian lives and the destruction of essential services.
He addressed the broader geopolitical context, accusing the Saudi regime of aligning with American and Israeli interests at the expense of regional stability. He warned against the consequences of cooperation with the Zionist plan, urging a unified stance among Islamic nations against external aggression.
The Leader of the Revolution concluded by calling for a massive public demonstration to affirm Yemen's steadfastness and commitment to the Palestinian cause and broader Islamic issues, reinforcing Yemen's position against the Zionist scheme.
