Light Parade and Cultural Evening Celebrate Prophet’s Birthday in Bani Bahloul

Bani bahloul: The Bani Bahloul area in the Sanhan and Bani Bahloul District of Sana'a Governorate witnessed a light parade and cultural evening in celebration of the Prophet's birthday, may the best prayers and purest peace be upon him and his family.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was graced by notable figures including Shura Council member Abdul Qader Al-Shawish and Deputy Governor Mohammed Ayed. Dr. Yahya Al-Muhaqari, the Deputy Director of the Presidential Office, commended both the popular and official participation in the event. He emphasized the occasion's religious and cultural significance in fostering a deeper connection to the Prophet and his teachings.

Cultural activist Osama Al-Mahatori praised the celebrations in Bani Bahloul, noting the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life and emulating his morals. He stated that the commemoration embodies the Yemeni people's love for the Prophet and their commitment to their religious and cultural identity. Al-Mahatori called for using the occasion to reinforce values of sacrifice, steadfastness, and following the Prophet's example.

Sheikh Mufid al-Faqih, head of the Bani Bahloul tribe, highlighted the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday in a fitting manner, which strengthens the connection to his life and teachings. The event saw attendance from various officials, including Adnan al-Saqqaf from the governorate's media offices, Abdul-Muhsin al-Sharif from Youth and Sports, Muhammad Sharqan from the Secretariat, Amin Sinan from the Education Sector, Saif al-Hashimi from the Scholars and Students Unit, and Colonel Muhammad Qanaf, Director of Security for the district.

The evening featured songs, an operetta, and expressive poems, contributing to the festive atmosphere of the event.
