Local Administration Concludes Training Course for ‘Knights of Unity, Development’ for Occupied Provinces

Sana'a: The Ministry of Local Administration and Rural Development concluded on Sunday a ten-day training course for 34 participants from the 'Knights of Unity and Development' in occupied provinces. The program was organized in cooperation with Bunyan Training and Qualification Academy.

According to Yemen News Agency, the course aimed to enhance volunteer and cooperative development work, expand developmental initiatives across Yemen, and prepare participants to lead efforts in the occupied provinces. The ministry highlighted plans to establish 2,000 cooperative associations and stressed supporting displaced families to become productive contributors to the national economy.

The participants were urged to apply their training to overcome challenges posed by the ongoing occupation and replicate successful interventions from free areas. The closing ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development Mohammed al-Madani, Deputy Minister Nasser al-Mahdhar, governors of Aden, Mahrah, Socotra, and Abyan, as well as ministry officials.

Trainee representative Ahmed al-Zahri affirmed the commitment to promoting development, volunteerism, youth empowerment, and self-sufficiency, emphasizing their role as a foundation for Yemen's sustainable development.
