Al-mahra: The Governor of Al-Mahra, Al-Qatabi Al-Farji, declared the province's leadership, local authority, executive office, and the populace's full support and response to the recent call from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. This call was made during a historic declaration commemorating the anniversary of the Prophet's migration (Hijra) in 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Al-Farji articulated that the Leader of the Revolution's stern warnings to the Saudi-led coalition about the repercussions of their continued delays on humanitarian and economic matters resonate with the beliefs of every free Yemeni citizen across all regions and provinces. He highlighted the severe oppression and abuse endured by the people in the occupied southern and eastern provinces, especially Al-Mahra, over the past 11 years under occupation and aggression.
Governor Al-Farji underscored the Saudi enemy's persistent tactics of evasion and procrastination in honoring peace commitments, withdrawing from the southern and eastern Yemeni provinces, halting the exploitation of the country's resources, paying Yemeni salaries, and compensating for the crimes committed against the Yemeni people during those years. He sees the Leader's call as a strategic roadmap toward restoring rights, liberating occupied provinces, and ending aggression and blockades. The directives at this critical juncture are perceived as embodying the Yemeni people's aspirations for full sovereignty and complete liberation.
Furthermore, the governor affirmed the preparedness of the free and honorable people of Al-Mahra, its tribes and leaders, and those from the southern and eastern provinces. They are ready to carry out the revolutionary, political, and military leadership's directives to liberate every inch of the homeland and expel foreign forces from occupied territories. He urged all inhabitants of the occupied regions to unite, strengthen their ranks, and bolster their readiness to confront the forces of aggression and occupation that continue to worsen the suffering of the Yemeni people.
