Mahweet: Mahweet University organized solidarity rallies across its colleges on Tuesday under the slogan 'Steadfast with Gaza. We Fear No Threats, Nor Are We Intimidated by Conspiracies,' expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
According to Yemen News Agency, rallies were held in the Colleges of Medicine, Health Sciences, Engineering and IT, Education, Administrative and Human Sciences, and Applied Sciences in Shibam, with participation from university leadership, local authorities, and students. Participants raised banners condemning the Israeli occupation's crimes in Gaza, denouncing Arab and Islamic silence, and warning against betrayal deals undermining the Palestinian cause.
University officials affirmed Yemen's steadfast stance in support of Palestine, describing the situation in Gaza as systematic genocide against civilians, and called for ongoing student and public activism to lift the siege and end the aggression.
The university pledged to continue its educational and advocacy efforts to expose occupation crimes and protect future generations from normalization and betrayal schemes.
