Zabid: The Zabid District in Al-Hodeida Governorate witnessed a mass women's event for the free women of the Southern Quarter districts, celebrating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi).
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants raised flags and Muhammadan banners, expressing their joy at the birth of the Greatest Messenger and embodying feelings of love and loyalty to him. The event addressed aspects of the Prophetic biography and the divine guidance, values, and principles it contained, establishing an integrated approach in worship and morals.
The speeches affirmed that celebrating the Mawlid recalls the greatness of the Muhammadan message and reflects the depth of connection to the Messenger of God, highlighting women's responsibility in raising children on love for him and introducing them to his guidance and morals. They called for linking the expressions of celebration to righteous deeds, solidarity, and charity.
The event featured chants, poetic recitals, and cultural segments expressing joy at the occasion and highlighting the status of the Prophet in the hearts of the participants.
