Dhale': A meeting at the General Authority for Zakat in Dhale' governorate on Tuesday, chaired by Acting Governor Abdulatif al-Shaghdari, discussed the mechanism for disbursing medical and medical aid to those in need in the governorate's occupied districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shaghdari praised the Zakat Authority's efforts in expanding the network for distributing medical aid to needy citizens in the districts of Dhale', al-Shuaib, al-Husayn, al-Azraq, and Jahaf. He highlighted the situation of people in the occupied districts, emphasizing their need for assistance, attention, and monitoring of their conditions.
The Director of the Zakat Office in the Governorate, Ahmed al-Dahiani, indicated the Authority's intention to disburse zakat and medical aid to those in need in the occupied areas, especially following the opening of the Sana'a-Aden road through Dhale' governorate. He called on those in need in the occupied territories to prepare medical aid files for transfer to hospitals for treatment at the expense of the Zakat Office in Damt, noting that the zakat will be disbursed to the poor and needy in Dhale' governorate generally.
