Hodeida: A meeting was held in Al Hodeida Governorate, chaired by the Chairman of the Investment Authority, Yasser Al Mansour, and the Deputy Governor, Mohammed Al Nahari, to discuss enhancing tourism investment opportunities in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting focused on exploiting the governorate's natural and environmental resources to revitalize the tourism sector. A key point of discussion was simplifying procedures and removing obstacles for investors to facilitate this growth.
Al Mansour emphasized the existence of untapped tourism potential in Hodeida, noting the need for improving the investment environment and providing incentives to attract investors. Al Nahari highlighted the importance of planning for an integrated tourism zone along the coastal strip from the Grand Roundabout to Ghalifiqa, which could become a significant attraction.
The meeting concluded with recommendations, including the preparation of an executive plan for establishing the proposed tourism zone. It also emphasized enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors, aiming to stimulate tourism, create job opportunities, and strengthen the local economy.
