Sana’a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast cold and very cold weather conditions in the mountainous highlands, deserts, and interior plateaus over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center’s weather bulletin indicates that the governorates of Sa’dah, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, northern Ibb, and western Al-Jawf can expect cold to very cold weather.
Meanwhile, the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Al-Dhale’a, Lahj, Abyan, as well as the plateaus and deserts of Shabwah, Hadhramaut, and Al-Mahra are predicted to experience cold weather. The center has issued warnings to citizens in these areas, particularly advising the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night and in the early morning to be cautious of the cold and very cold conditions.
The center has also advised farmers to implement measures to protect crops from the cold. Travelers heading to these cold regions are urged to take necessary precautions to safeguard themselves against the cold weather.
