Minister of Education Evaluates Academic Progress at Al-Andalus University

Sana'a: Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Sa'adi on Tuesday inspected the academic and educational process at Al-Andalus University of Science and Technology, as well as the university's facilities and infrastructure.

According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Al-Sa'adi, accompanied by University Rector Dr. Ahmed Barqaan and his Deputy for Academic Affairs Dr. Abdullah Abbas, received briefings from the deans of the university's colleges on the progress of the educational process, the modern equipment available in computer and engineering application laboratories and their compliance with academic and production standards, as well as the university's service facilities and large conference halls.

A meeting chaired by the Minister of Education and attended by the university rector, his deputies, deans of the various colleges, and specialists discussed the university's situation, the progress of academic education, the difficulties it faces, and proposed solutions.

Minister Al-Sa'adi commended the efforts of Al-Andalus University administration to raise academic standards and focus on applied and engineering fields. He affirmed the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research's commitment to providing the necessary support and facilities to overcome difficulties and challenges and improve educational outcomes in line with labor market requirements.

For his part, University Rector Dr. Barqaan presented a detailed overview of the teaching process and development plans for the university's colleges and available specializations. He emphasized the university's full commitment to implementing directives and recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education in Yemen.
