Ministry of Oil Condemns Saudi Actions Against Yemeni Demands

Sana'a: The Ministry of Oil and Minerals and its affiliated units have condemned the actions of the Saudi regime, accusing it of disregarding the legitimate demands of the Yemeni people, particularly the lifting of a blockade that has persisted for 12 years.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry issued a statement criticizing the Saudi regime's response to the humanitarian demands of the Yemeni people. Instead of addressing these issues, the statement claims that the Saudi regime has intensified its aggression, targeting key locations such as Sana'a International Airport, the city and port of Hodeida, and Kamaran Island. This, according to the Ministry, highlights an ongoing commitment by Saudi forces to perpetrate crimes against Yemen, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis faced by the Yemeni population.

The Ministry's statement underscores that such actions demonstrate Saudi Arabia's resolve to maintain its aggression, leading to further suffering for the Yemeni people. It stressed that the Yemeni population remains steadfast in their demands, which include ending the aggression, lifting the blockade on airports and seaports, recovering looted resources, and the withdrawal of occupying forces from Yemeni territory.

The Ministry reaffirmed the Yemeni people's right to defend their rights and dignity, a right supported by international laws. The statement concluded by asserting that the Saudi escalation will not deter the Yemeni people from persisting with their legitimate demands until the blockade is lifted and the aggression ceases entirely.
