Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed Sunday at 7509.36 points, marking a decline of 13.5 points, or 0.18 percent, in comparison to the previous session's close of 7522.85 points.

According to Yemen News Agency, the trading value on the Muscat Stock Exchange reached 27,572,263 Omani rials, reflecting a decrease of 22.9 percent from the prior session's value of 35,770,061 Omani rials.

The daily report released by the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated a 0.098 percent decrease in market capitalization from the previous trading day, bringing it to approximately 38.29 billion Omani rials.

The stock exchange saw non-Omani purchases totaling 2.822 million Omani riyals, constituting 10.23 percent of the total trades, while non-Omani sales amounted to 4.325 million Omani riyals, representing 15.69 percent. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment experienced a decrease of 1.503 million Omani riyals, accounting for 5.45 percent.
