Jakarta:Al-Jawf Mass rallies took place in Al-Jawf province on Friday under the theme "Standing Firm with Palestine and Mobilizing Against Saudi Aggression, Siege and Falsehoods." The gatherings emphasized strong support for Palestine and opposition to Saudi actions in Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants from various districts, including Al-Masloub, Al-Hazm, and Al-Zahir, chanted slogans condemning Saudi actions against the Yemeni people and expressed unwavering support for Palestinians. They rejected claims that Yemen's armed forces target Islamic holy sites.
The rallies' statement highlighted Yemen's continued religious and moral support for Palestine, marking the third anniversary of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. It urged Arab and Muslim nations to oppose what it described as Saudi-Israeli conspiracies. Furthermore, the statement affirmed a policy of "siege for siege and escalation for escalation," vowing to target Saudi military build-ups until the aggression ceases and the blockade is lifted.
Recalling the anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood, the statement claimed that Israel's perceived invincibility was challenged by Palestinian resistance. It called for unity in resisting plans for a "New Middle East" and "Greater Israel."
The statement also praised the liberation of Taiz districts from Saudi-backed groups and the Yemeni armed forces' operations against Saudi facilities. It emphasized the importance of the Bab al-Mandab Strait to Yemen's national security and warned against attempts to militarize it.
Finally, the statement denounced Saudi allegations as falsehoods and called for a boycott of American and Israeli goods. It reiterated Yemen's commitment to defending Islamic holy sites and supporting Palestinian, Lebanese, Iraqi, and Iranian allies.
