The works office and ma'in district in the capital secretariat: removed a building violation that had caused the closure of Street 36, located within residential units (543 - 543A) in Ma'in District.
According to Yemen News Agency, the removal of the violation and the opening of the street were carried out in the presence of the heads of the Social Affairs Committees of the Capital Secretariat Local Council, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb; Planning, Sharaf Al-Hadi; Services, Adel Al-Aqari; the Deputy Secretary of the Capital for Financial Affairs, Mazen Nu'man; the Assistant Deputy Secretary for Administrative Units, Sami Sharaf al-Din; and the Director of Ma'in District, Abdulmalik Al-Radi.
Al-Naqeeb and Al-Radi emphasized the importance of opening this vital street, which connects Saylat Asr and Al-Sunainah, and had been closed for many years. This will facilitate the movement of citizens in the area and support the continued implementation of service and development projects and the improvement of services.
They stressed the need to continue efforts to remove building violations and informal settlements, and to complete the opening and leveling of main and secondary streets, and to implement the master plan in the district.
