Raymah: Elders and residents of Al-Akmah village in Bani Al-Dhubaibi sub-district, Al-Jabin district of Raymah governorate have denied reports circulated by a 'coalition media' alleging security raids in the area.
According to Yemen News Agency, residents of Al-Akmah rejected claims that security forces carried out raids in connection with the removal of slogans of Al-Sarkha from a mosque, describing the reports as false and baseless.
They said the allegations promoted by certain media outlets are untrue and constitute a decline in professional standards and media ethics, accusing those outlets of spreading misinformation and misleading public opinion.
The statement emphasized that Al-Akmah village and the wider Bani Al-Dhubaibi area are experiencing stability and public order, with no incidents matching the reports circulated in some media platforms.
Residents added that the dissemination and reuse of unverified footage and claims reflects an attempt to influence public perception and undermine social cohesion, which they said has not succeeded in affecting the internal stability of the community.
The statement called on media outlets, activists, and journalists to exercise caution and verify information from reliable local sources before publishing, warning against what it described as misleading narratives aimed at disturbing public order.
The residents reaffirmed that Raymah Governorate remains socially cohesive and supportive of public security efforts, stressing their continued cooperation with security agencies to maintain stability and community safety.
They concluded by stating that such allegations would not affect local unity or trust in security institutions, but would instead reinforce community awareness and resilience against misinformation.
