Sana'a:The Sana'a Capital Secretariat hosted a central event to commemorate the 1448 AH Annual Martyr's Anniversary, honoring the families of its martyred employees.
According to Yemen News Agency, Capital Secretariat Secretary-General Hamoud Obbad praised the sacrifices made by those who defended their country, Islamic holy sites, and the oppressed, stating that these sacrifices have brought Yemen honor and pride. He emphasized that the ongoing confrontation is a battle for the entire nation, especially in defense of Palestine and against what he described as global Zionism and hegemonic powers led by the United States and Israel.
Obbad highlighted the responsibility of government institutions, the Martyrs' Authority, and community organizations to continue supporting the families of martyrs and regularly address their needs. He urged Yemenis, under the leadership of Abdulmalik al-Houthi, to remain committed to the martyrs' path and continue resisting the Saudi-led aggression and blockade until victory is achieved.
The event saw the attendance of local officials, Secretariat representatives, and relatives of the martyrs. Participants recited Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs. At the conclusion of the event, Obbad and the Secretariat's administrative leadership honored the families of martyred employees with certificates of appreciation and financial assistance in recognition of their sacrifices and enduring legacy.
