Sana'a: Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi and Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem al-Duais inaugurated the new academic year 1448 AH in the Sana'a governorate. The ceremony took place at several schools, including al-Nasr School and Beit Bos School, where they assessed the preparations made to provide a conducive learning environment for the students.
According to Yemen News Agency, the head of the education sector, Talib Dahhan, reported that 490,364 students have enrolled across all districts. Both al-Hadi and al-Duais expressed their appreciation for the dedication of teachers and students, highlighting education as a crucial front in the nation's defense. They called for collective efforts to overcome challenges faced by school administrations and to enhance educational quality and outcomes.
In Bani Hushaish district, the academic year was inaugurated at the Martyr Abu Mohammed al-Husseini School by the province's first undersecretary Hamid Asim and Ali al-Suhaili from the local council's social affairs committee. They acknowledged the strong student turnout and urged educators to foster a well-informed generation, resilient against adversarial influences.
Yahya Juma'an, the province undersecretary for Investment, launched the educational process in Bani Matar District at various schools. He emphasized the importance of collaboration to ensure the academic year's success and lauded the educational staff's perseverance amidst current challenges.
The educational process was also initiated in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul district by Mahyoub Mahdi and local council officials. They reviewed the discipline levels among staff and students and pledged to elevate academic performance.
In Bilad al-Rus district, Deputy Fares al-Kuhali commenced the academic year at key schools, focusing on creating a favorable learning environment. Meanwhile, in Arhab district, undersecretaries Mohsen Abu Hadi and Fadl al-Qasir emphasized quality education and support from the governorate's leadership to address educational obstacles.
District directors in other areas, including Hamdan and Sa'afan, conducted inspections and urged staff and students to adhere strictly to the Ministry of Education's guidelines, ensuring the educational process's success across the governorate.
